Questions & Answers

Online classical homeopathy for adults and children across the US

What is classical homeopathy?

Classical homeopathy is an individualized approach that looks at the whole person, not just the disease. I consider your symptoms along with emotional, physical and hereditary information to find the remedy that fits you. I usually give one remedy at a time, though every person is different and the right approach depends on you. I’m Nadine Leonova, DHom. I earned my Diploma in Homeopathy at the Los Angeles School of Homeopathy and have studied with Louis Klein, Dr. Roger Morrison, Dr. Jonathan Hardy, Richard Pitt, John Ourant and Dr. Farokh Master, among many others.

How do online consultations work, and what do I need?

We meet on Doxy.me, a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. Shortly before your appointment, I’ll email you a link to connect, so please check your inbox. You’ll need a device with a camera, a reliable internet connection and a quiet, private space. If you’d like to talk briefly before booking, a free 15-minute call is available.

What happens in the first appointment?

Before your first appointment, you download the adult or child intake form from the Book an Appointment page, fill it out and email it back. Please allow up to two hours. We talk about your health history and how you experience your symptoms, as well as your energy, sleep, appetite, digestion, personality and whatever else concerns you. One to two weeks after you start a remedy, I check in by phone or email at no extra cost.

Do you work with children?

Yes, I work with both adults and children. A first consultation for a child is 75 to 120 minutes, starts from $200 and uses the child intake form. Most of the intake is spent with parent and child together, and sometimes I like a little one-on-one time with the child. If needed, we can also schedule a time for you and me to speak alone. Clients aged 16 and up book an adult intake.

How often are follow-ups?

Follow-ups are usually every 4 to 6 weeks. A follow-up is 30 to 45 minutes and starts from $115, or 60 to 80 minutes from $160 if it has been more than a year since your last visit. The Getting Started Package includes your first consultation and two follow-ups, prepaid, for $404.

How do I pay, and what’s your cancellation policy?

Payment is due before your appointment, by PayPal (credit cards accepted, no account needed), Venmo or Cash App. Remedies are extra and usually cost $10 to $40, depending on where you buy them. To reschedule or cancel, please call or email at least 48 hours ahead. Cancellations or changes within 48 hours are charged the full appointment fee, unless I can fill your slot.

Do you offer reduced rates or discounts?

Yes. Reduced rates are available for those in financial need, so just ask. Every referral earns you 30% off your next follow-up.

Can I use homeopathy if I take prescription medication?

Yes. Many people use homeopathic remedies while taking prescription medication. Please tell me about any medication you take so I have the full picture of your health. I am a classical homeopath, not a medical doctor, so questions about changing your medication are best discussed with your prescribing doctor.

Where are you located, and which time zones do you work with?

My practice is registered in Santa Monica, California, and I work online with clients across the United States. Appointment times are arranged in your own time zone when you book.
